Research Interest:

I am interested in the biogeography of plants located throughout the Madrean Sky Islands, with a particular focus on how climate change is impacting these plant populations. I want to better understand the genetic differences between populations to inform conservation strategies for threatened plant populations. Natalie highly values the intersection of government, industry, academia, and community engagement to ensure at-risk plant populations are conserved. I strive to create an environment where historically marginalized communities are involved and actively participate in science
