Bio: Cooper received his bachelor's degree from Brandeis University, where he worked closely with scientists from several nations to understand how 928 different migratory animal species connect human communities across space. Now a graduate student and CAMBIUM fellow at the University of Arizona, he will continue to study these "telecoupled" systems and the management of migratory species across North America.
Ultimately, Cooper hopes to positively affect the health of both migratory animal populations and human communities.
