Krista Romero-Cardenas, MPH, PMP is a doctoral student in Natural Resources at the University of Arizona and a National Science Foundation CAMBIUM fellow. She holds a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and has professional experience across government, nonprofit, and corporate sectors. Her background spans public health, environmental policy, and workforce development, with expertise in stakeholder engagement, program evaluation, and cross-jurisdictional collaboration. Krista’s current work is grounded in a One Health approach, recognizing the deep interconnection between human, animal, and environmental health in advancing community-driven environmental governance and policy.
